Welcome to PSSR! We are located in Miramar, Nicaragua–just outside Puerto Sandino–where the people are genuine and kind, the beaches are beautiful, and the waves are insane!

Our affordable beach front resort is situated between several of Nicaragua’s greatest waves: Pipes, La Jamaica, Shacks, Punta Miramar….not to mention full boat access to the reeling 300m left at Puerto Sandino, one of the longest waves in Central America.

Thanks to Lake Nicaragua you can still enjoy the benefits of predominant offshore winds…without the crowds!

We offer everything from your basic night-to-night hotel, to an all inclusive tour package.

No matter what you choose, you always have access to the bar, pool, internet, and restaurant….and there’s always the option of having your sessions photographed.

Surf Tours

We have turned our years of personal surf exploration and coveted knowledge into a tell-all hard-core surf adventure tour.

Our surf tour concentrates mostly on the empty Central and Northern coast of Nicaragua, where the water remains warm year-round and the masses of surf camps and hotels of Southern Nicaragua have yet to really catch on. However, through our other hotel in Popoyo we still have access (including by boat) to all the waves there as well–the product of 12+ years in Nicaragua.

Each of our surf tours is unique and follows the surf, not a planned route. We frequent nearly 200 kilometers of coastline, guiding our guests to the best waves in Central and Northern Nicaragua. Join us for a true Nicaraguan experience as we surf a variety of great waves along a little known coastline.

And for the hard-core surf traveler we offer trips to El Salvador as well. Right points, left slabs and everything between! So many great waves to be had, surfing is believing. If interested, inquire for prices.

Surf Camp

Set up a home base and use our beach front venues to surf on your own schedule, or take advantage of an expert guide and the ride. The choice is yours! There are many great waves within walking, driving and boating distance to the hotel: Pipes, La Jamaica, Punta Mirmar, Transito, el Velero, and Playa Hermosa, just to name a few. There’s also an abundance of great non-surf related activities as well, including: world class Tarpon and Snook fishing, quail hunting, and even ashboarding down volcanoes.

Looking to get in shape?: Our fitness package will shred you up in two weeks. All natural food and an intensive beach/water exercise program will drop pounds and get you in shape fast. Inquire about prices.

Surf School

PSSR also offers the Surf School Package. This is an intensive week long surf lesson and basic water knowledge and safety course. You will stand up and ride waves from the very first session.
